Description
Wine characteristics
This Burgundy Gamay comes from vines over 20 years old grown on granite soils at 300 metres altitude, an ideal terroir to reveal the full finesse of the grape. Historically present in Burgundy, Gamay has fully flourished on the terroirs of Beaujolais, where it expresses its full aromatic richness today. On these granite soils, it develops a unique profile, marked by freshness, fruit and elegance, the signature of Beaujolais wines. Manual harvesting helps to preserve the quality of the grapes, followed by a short semi-carbonic fermentation, typical of Gamay. Ageing in stainless steel vats enhances the purity of the fruit and guarantees a luscious, balanced and accessible wine.
