Description
Wine characteristics
This Beaujolais Moulin à Vent is made from vines over 50 years old, grown on clay-limestone soils rich in manganese, typical of the great crus of Beaujolais. This terroir gives the wine depth, structure, and complexity. Made from the Gamay grape, this wine from the Beaujolais It benefits from manual harvesting followed by semi-carbonic fermentation for 8 to 10 days, a technique emblematic of the region. Maturation in stainless steel tanks preserves the full purity of the fruit and the typicity of the Moulin-à-Vent cru, recognised as one of the greatest red wines of Beaujolais.
