Description
Wine characteristics
From vines over 35 years old planted on clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 220 metres and facing south-east, this Pouilly-Fuissé reflects all the richness and complexity of the terroirs of Mâconnais. Manual harvesting allows for a rigorous selection of grapes.
Pneumatic pressing is followed by vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats to preserve the aromatic purity of the Chardonnay. Ageing in oak barrels for 6 months brings structure, roundness and complexity, the signature of the great white wines of Pouilly-Fuissé.
